Whether you're an avid traveler or simply interested in expanding your geographical knowledge, these countries that start with the letter F offer a wealth of experiences and discoveries. Consider adding one of these fascinating destinations to your next travel plans and immerse yourself in all they have to offer.
Three different flag layouts: Fiji, Finland and France
The flags in the F collection show why colour alone is rarely enough to identify a country. All three include blue and white, but their compositions are different. Fiji places the Union Flag in the upper corner of a light blue field, with a shield toward the outer edge. Finland uses a blue cross on white. France divides its flag into vertical blue, white and red bands.
Try identifying the layout before inspecting small emblems. A corner flag and shield point you toward Fiji; a cross points toward Finland; three vertical bands point toward France. This comparison also works when the images are too small to show every heraldic detail clearly.
